Motivation, teamwork and communication

Motivation is what makes people want to work well. A business motivates staff with money and with recognition, builds teams, and keeps everyone informed. Paper 1 asks what kind of reward a subsidised meal is and what a suggestion box is for again and again.

By the end of this page you can

  • Sort ways to motivate staff into financial and non-financial
  • Weigh the advantages and disadvantages of teamwork
  • Describe the communication process from sender to feedback
  • Choose a way to make communication at work effective

Goals tick themselves off as you try the activities below.
